Dinoczar
Look, it’s unclear to us if Dinoczar recorded anything from this track at Q, though we have concrete confirmation that the band did track some of its upcoming EP in Studio B with Matt Tahaney. With a name like Dinoczar we have to share their recent write up in Boston Hassle about their new single.
Eternals – Out Of Context
Eternals first swung by Q during a Rubber Tracks session, and then returned for a weekend in Studio B along with Rubber Tracks engineer Aaron Bastinelli. The quiet, clean atmosphere of Out of Context sounds like it’s just the right one for this lovely tune.
Caspian – Dust and Disquiet
We were pleased to host North Shore band Caspian while they tracked another full length at Q. They brought Matt Bayles (he’s worked with all sorts of well known/heavy bands, such as Isis/Mastodon) with them, and it sounds amazing. The record is richly textures and layered, and the band made use of pretty much every instrument we have at Q.
Sleep Crimes – Twin Geeks (Rubber Tracks)
We hosted and met so many bands during the 18 month long residency of Converse’s Rubber Tracks pop up studio that we’ve completely lost track of everyone who visited! Here’s a great couple of loud sludgy rocker from Sleep Crime. I’d love to know what was going on with the guitars, the fuzz is fantastically lush! Engineered by Matt Beaudoin in Studio A.
