Pulling influence from Indie, Americana and alternative rock, Shotgun Waltz delivers a fresh sound while holding on to a 90’s rock vibe.

Fuzzy Bumble
Fuzzy Bumble is fused with a mix of indie rock energy and compelling visual art all blended into one. The band tracked an array of new songs at Q Division, including their songs Clones and Deep End. And with Q’s very own team comprised of Joel Edinberg engineering, Pat DiCenso mixing and Ed Valauskas producing the session, it was magic in the studio! Check out their awesome live recording of Any Other Way shot in Studio A.
First Test Session in Studio A!
We finally got a band into Studio A to hear it and test it out. Eric Salt and Electric City are long time Q Friends, so we were super comfortable and happy to have them help us break in the room.
We think the room sounds really cool, and of course we found some bugs (well duh). I (Rafi) took some pictures of the guys while they were playing, and Chuck Hargreaves and I both moved mics and engineered. After over a year and a half of building and restoring the Neve it was nice to use the room as we designed it!
Check out the pictures… The sounds – well, that might take a minute to finish.
Magen Tracy & the Missed Connections – Long Burning Fuse
Megan Tracy’s new album is a true collaboration with folks from all over the Boston music scene pitching in – performing, arranging, and producing, We’re lucky to have hosted the band as they worked on this album over the last few months. Produced by Q’s Ed V and friends Craig Small, and recorded by James Bridges and mixed by Pat DiCenso, this album is a trip.
Abbie Barrett covers Walter Sickert
Mixed by Pat DiCenso and released to the images of a General Motors extended advertisement 1950s, Barrett’s cover of Walter Sickert’s Atom Bomb is self described as “the Jetsons meets dystopia.”
Check out Vanyaland’s write up to find out about the origin/backstory of the cover.
