Making great sounding records in comfort and style in Boston's best recording studio
While on tour this January, Nick Jonas wrote a new song that he wanted to record as soon as possible, so he and his band stopped by Q Division.
Left to Right- Sonny Thompson (guitar), Tommy Barbarella (keys) , Paul David Hager (engineer), Michael Bland (drums), John Fields (bass, Producer), Nick Jonas.
Tight, crunchy harmonies showcase Stonehoney’s knack and flare for classic country music with a southern rock twist, filmed live at Q, engineered by Joe Tooley and produced by Ed Valauskas in our very own Studio A.
State Radio recorded the tracks for their album Let It Go in Studio A. The band gave Pat his still often used nick name DENZEL! Visit Pat’a page to lean more about that…

Boston indie rockers The Space Moderns were keeping it real in Studio B. They are seen here in a live action shot: Peter Dowd on the left is playing guitar and singer/songwriter/drummer Steve Chen is at the drum set.
The Space Moderns recorded 8 songs in 2008. The songs were released in the fall of 2020! Fun to hear this stuff again after all this time, and to hear Studio B’s long gone live room again. Check it out on Spotify and other online streaming services.
