Mother Ton – Earthbound
Mother Ton sheds some light on their atmospheric, spacey, and extremely groovy sound in their song “Earthbound.” With their super smooth horn arrangements and colorful vocal production, it’s a “no-holds-barred” sound thanks to seamless sectional transitions and some of Studio A’s rarities and accommodations. Adora Makokha – Yellow Submarine
Berklee comes back to Q Division for a different and sunny take on “Yellow Submarine.” With some help from one of our engineers, James Bridges (and accompanied by an adorable animation by Nicholas Bertholet), it features Berklee student Adora Makokha leading a polished and fresh band through a groovy rendition of a classic tune by The Beatles.
Tanya Donelly – Swan Songs Series
Tanya Donnelly’s Swan Song Series is now complete and released. Over the last few years Tanya has stopped in at Q periodically to work on on this series, and the recordings have been released in stages. May 20th marks the digital/cd release of the complete series – the vinyl release is still to come. We’re super pleased to have been involved in recording, mixing, and mastering these songs – all of which are collaborations with other songwriters and musicians – it’s an incredibly diverse body of work!
