Alisa Amador on The Kelly Clarkson Show – Recorded in Studio A

Alisa Amador came to Q to shoot a live version of her song ‘Enough’ for The Kelly Clarkson Show. Backed by the incredible Cilla Bonnie on bass and long time friend of Q’s, Dave Brophy on drums, it was magic in Q’s gorgeous Studio A! Q’s very own Chuck Hargreaves recorded and engineered the session, with Dave Brophy helping out with mixing.

Alisa Amador made history in 2022 as the first-ever Spanish language song to win the Tiny Desk Contest and has since gone on to release her highly praised first full length album Multitudes.

Ed Sheeran in Studio A

Back in June of 2023 we had a super fun and super secret session with Ed Sheeran. He came through to shoot some video of him playing through his new loop pedal station. They also shot some interviews with him in the control room.
He was friendly, gracious, and incredibly fast – in and out in under two hours!

Fuzzy Bumble

Fuzzy Bumble is fused with a mix of indie rock energy and compelling visual art all blended into one. The band tracked an array of new songs at Q Division, including their songs Clones and Deep End. And with Q’s very own team comprised of Joel Edinberg engineering, Pat DiCenso mixing and Ed Valauskas producing the session, it was magic in the studio! Livestreaming and Multi Camera Video

Q Division is now offering real time multi camera livestreaming from Studio A. We work very hard to make everyone sound and look fantastic. We’ve been using the Neve and all of our vintage microphones and instruments to broadcast intimate shows (and sometimes sessions) from Studio A. We’re using a collection of vintage lenses on Nikon DSLRs and Canon cameras to provide an uncompromising experience for all involved.

In addition to livestreaming a multi camera show or recording session, we can also record as multiple cameras independently for editing at a later date.

We’re also equipped with a green screen and a range of lights for video production tasks.
