Oh The Humanity! – Tired Ears EP

July 1, 2017 by Rafi

Recorded and mixed by Q Division’s Sean Cahalin, Oh The Humanity!’s EP “Tired Ears” was released on June 30th via Ocelot Records.  With tempo-driving drums, oft-melodic aggressive guitar licks and vocals reminiscent of A Day to Remember’s frontman Jeremy McKinnon, Oh the Humanity! has created a release firmly rooted in the origins of the pop punk scene of the early 2000’s while taking a modern approach to the genre.  Listen below.

Mother Ton – Earthbound

July 26, 2016 by Rafi

Mother Ton sheds some light on their atmospheric, spacey, and extremely groovy sound in their song “Earthbound.” With their super smooth horn arrangements and colorful vocal production, it’s a “no-holds-barred” sound thanks to seamless sectional transitions and some of Studio A’s rarities and accommodations. You can find more of Mother Ton’s music here, including their new album Star2Mars: https://mothertonmusic.bandcamp.com

Autumn Above – Blessed You’re Still

March 13, 2015 by Rafi

Autumn Above’s newest offering is lush, layered, and lovely (aka the three L’s of album reviews). Q engineer Sean Cahalin plays bass in Autumn Above. He can also be heard playing drums on the recording, which he also mixed. Sean’s pretty talented like that.

Ross Livermore Band – To Life

December 29, 2014 by Rafi

The Ross Livermore Band perform one of their slower, downbeat ballads, featuring Studio A’s Hammond C2 organ. This arrangement unwinds with a blended and passionate four-part harmony. The band camped in Studio A for a few days and tracked a bunch of tunes LIVE to our lovely 2″ tape!
You can follow Ross Livermore Band and stay up to date with more of their video projects and productions here:
