Mellotron MK II Sounds

The MK II has a left and right manual. The left hand manual was originally split into two section, Rhythm and Fill. On Q Division’s MKII only the first bank still has two sounds on the left. All the other banks now have a single sound across each section of the keyboard.
Each piece of tape has three tracks on it (A, B, and C), allowing each sound to be played individually, or mixed together (with the exception of the Rhythm side, which can only play one sound at a time).
So for instance, you could choose Bank 1 on the left, set the Rhythm side to track B and hear the Dixieland beat. Set the Fill to mix A and B and hear the Swinging Flutes and the Trombones, and set the right side to Bank 3 and mix tracks A and B and hear both MKII Strings and M300A Strings. Or you can just use one sound at a time on each side, which the most common way our MKII is used.
