The Return of the Mellotron Mark 2!!!
Before there were samplers, MPC’s, or garageband – there was the mellotron. An incredible leap forward in sound and cabinetry, the mellotron was made popular by many bands including The Moody Blues (this one was owned by Mike Pinder, and reportedly toured with him as a backup machine), the Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, and of course the Beatles.
Ours has recently come back from receiving a new tape set and complete refurb by “the Mellotron Professor” Jerry Korb. Come check it out before it breaks.
