For over 30 (!) years Q Division Recording Studios have been home to Boston area bands and musicians. Located in Davis Square, Somerville, we’re just minutes away from Boston, walking distance to Cambridge, and a quick jog to Medford, Arlington, and other areas.

We have two unique recording spaces, an incredible and dedicated staff, and a collection of sweet gear and toys, both vintage and modern. Q Division’s recording studios have state of the art Pro Tools rigs (HDX!), AND fantastic old school analog mixing consoles (NEVE!) and tape machines (STUDER!). Studio A’s live room is expansive, and can comfortably fit a really big band for live tracking in comfort and style. Read more about our facilities in our our Studios section.

Q Division Studios are way cool, if we may say so ourselves.
But don’t just take our word for it. Check out who’s been here, what they sound like, and please get in touch and take a tour. We love showing off Q Division’s recording studios.
